Less than
Containers Load Shipments (LCL) can be arranged
from our facility to the overseas port.
Ocean Freight
shipments moving LCL are charged on prorated bases
depending on the L x W x H and weight, therefore
if you have 4.5 Cubic Meters you pay for 4.5CBM
not 5CBM.
All Goods should be wrapped and packed into strong
cardboard moving boxes. Larger items such as dressers,
tables and chairs should be blanket wrapped. Bed
mattress's should be wrapped with thick plastic.
Shipping
LCL options:
Goods
may be packaged in a crate or in boxes on a wrapped
pallet. Crate shipping, although a bit more costly,
provides the ultimate protection for your personal
goods. Pallet shipping is more economical but
boxes simply dont provide the same protection
as crate. We recommend you take into account the
fragility and value of your goods when making
your shipping method choice.
For example, if a Clothing company is shipping
a load of pants and shirts from China to the United
States they would save money by opting to pallet
ship it. If the Clothing Co. purchases a few computers
and fax machines to be shipped from the United
States to China then crate shipping is the sensible
way to go.
Marine Insurance is also an option. Crated goods
qualify for an "all risk" policy as
palletized goods may only qualify for a "total
loss" policy.
Full Container Load (FCL) Shipments can be arranged from your facility or our warehouse to the overseas port.
You can self-pack and load the container or we can arrange the packing for you.
